Frequently Asked Questoins
apaFit™ is the world’s first multi-trainer system developed specifically for water-based environments. It harnesses the natural resistance of water to deliver a complete physical, motor, and cognitive workout - safely and without putting damaging stress on the joints.
The method is suitable for everyone, from elite athletes to individuals in rehabilitation, but it offers particular value for older adults and longevity-focused training. It helps build physical resilience, improve range of motion, and preserve independence, while being precisely adapted to each person’s fitness level or mobility limitations.
Water reduces the effects of gravity and eliminates the impact forces present on land. Its three-dimensional, enveloping resistance makes it possible to strengthen muscles and improve stability in a supportive, pain-free environment, while significantly lowering the risk of injury.
Not at all. Training takes place in shallow water, up to 1.2 meters deep, where participants remain fully stable on their feet and are supported by the system itself as well as our dedicated accessories, such as the balance board and specialized flotation aids. These provide complete support and confidence throughout the session.
Beyond physical strengthening, the apaMove™ method involves multi-directional movement, crossing the body’s midline, and coordinated motor control. This type of motor challenge in a water environment stimulates brain activity, strengthens neural connections, and helps maintain mental sharpness.
We offer a flexible, end-to-end service model. apa Wellness can provide the advanced systems through either purchase or leasing. Our instructor team can come on site to train your staff and/or lead classes for participants - with no need for the institution’s management to purchase equipment or handle logistics. If you want, I can also turn this into a more marketing-oriented version, a more premium/boutique tone, or a website-ready copy adapted for web scanning and conversion.
